Hey all,i'm going to be starting my upgrade today and have a question. After i replace the mb,cpu, graphic card, memory, will i need to reformat and reinstall vista on my hard drive that i am going to carry over?I hear so much about how vista collects info from your computer to tie it to your specific computer.
XP was always easy, just call and say i upgraded, they said ok and bam reactivated.Guess not so much from Vista from what i am hearing.I just have the home basic i bought from walmart, not the builder versions that come with new computers.
What hoops am i gonna have to jump through to get it reactivated if i have to reinstall?
thanks!

No hoops - The terms and procedures are the same as XP's are/were.
