Hi.I'm having problems with vista freezing constanely a couple of minutes after start up.
I checked in the event viewer and am getting this error very frequently and during the times when the pc freezes.I don't know if it's relevant and would like to know if this means i should update the bios.
here is the error:
Performance power management features on processor 0 are disabled due to a firmware problem. Check with the computer manufacturer for updated firmware.
The same error occurs for all processors (q6600)
I would appreciate any assistance.thanks

Got some info here about this error.Doesn't seem like anything important.I guess that's not the problem
