HI everyone ...

I got a new dell Desktop a few days ago, i installed AVG in it and suddenly it stopped working, somehow its working but when ever i click on it, it ll show for less then a second and then it ll be closed, then everything that had to do with security started acting the same way as AVG ! and even when ever tried to download another anti virus from the net or even open a web page that includes one, the whole page ll be closed if i tried to open anything that had to do with SECURITY ! I formatted it and same thing happened ....

plzz if anyone have any idea, i ll be thankful for your help !

If you had 'formatted' it, the system HD would be 'clean' or a new OS installation would be the case with the recovery CD. Try going in to Safe Mode and uninstalling the AVG program from Control/Panel/Add Remove programs for xp or Programs and Features for Vista. If you don't know how to get in Safe Mode, uninstall AVG from the desktop if possible. And no need to type in bold...are you shouting? Call Dell support and 'splain it there in a softer tone of voice.

Check the hosts file for one... you've definately got some sort of malware.
