I have been trying to unzip a file I downloaded but I keep getting this messsage when I got to extract the files

Cannot Complete the Compressed (zipped) Folders Extraction Wizard

The compressed (zipped) folder is empty.

Before you can extract files, you must copy files to this compressed (zipped) folder.

To close this wizard, click Finish.

Anyone have this problem or know what I should do? thx!

Not sure but usually a failure to decompress a file turns out to be some sort of corruption with the file you DL. Try DL again. Other possibility is that the compression format is nor supported by the program you are using. Is this a .zip file?

any question about the format you can use this program which handles multiple formats http://www.download.com/7-Zip/3000 [...] 45185.html
