Trying to get into a Toshiba DVD player ( V-592 ). Anyone have the code?
The problem is that the HDMI output into my Samsung DLP is clipping the
whites reguardless of any contrast settings, lamp boost, white ramp, etc...
the component output looks fine and the DVI from the dish is fine.

Sorry about the empty reply.
The model is not one that I recognize, but I was just in the manual for a
V-392 recently and they have no adjustments in the service mode that would
relate to this problem. Is this a combo unit?
It is like the DVD is puting out PC HDMI levels and the DLP is clipping
them.
