Hi all
Had an XP PC in one room connected to a secured router by ethernet cable (both side by side). This worked faultlessly. Have now moved PC to next room and using a usb wireless adapter (which came with the router) get a connection with excellent strength. Ther's one partition wall between the 2 items and they're only about 12 inces apart.
Now, if I try to access the web I'm unable to, despite having entered the right key. Any ideas please, or do I just put a cable through the wall? I think I shouldn't have to !!
Hi again
Should have said before. I also have a vista laptop which did and continues to access the web via the router without a problem, so presumably the router is OK and the PC's adapter ought to be OK as it says it has an excellent connection.
