Hey folks,
I have an Abit 7NHD or (N7HD, not exactly sure) and an AMD 64 x2 5000+ BE. I'm using on-board video and have 2GB of RAM. My hard drive is a WD Caviar SATA 500GB. I install Windows XP, set C drive with 50GB of space. Installation went well, no errors. When XP attempts to go into desktop for the first time after installation, it won't go. All I'm getting is a blank screen. I was able to go into safe mode, but didn't know what to look for.

So I did a repair but with no success. So I did a clean install, delete and create partition for C, install XP, again no success. I checked the cables and all are good. I don't know what to do now.

Pls help.

Thanks in advance.
