Tvgo card a12 for ubuntu 11 04

hi ... i have recently bought a TVGO card A12 ... and i am having problems trying to make it run in Ubuntu 11.04(Unity Desktop) ... anyone with any ideas on how to solve this problem ... i only have one operating system at the moment and truth be told i really don't feel like installing Windows .... Help a brother out Pleeaaaaseee ... lol

  1. Hmm, never heard of that card, can you post the output of lspci (filter out the miscellaneous devices if possible)

  3. Ah, thanks. It seems that this chipset is indeed supported (via Video4Linux2, or V4L2, direct sound through saa713x-alsa).

    Can you post the output of dmesg|grep -iE "saa713[0-9]"

    Also, what are you trying to do/what software are you using that's failing and leading you to ask for assistance?
