ACPI Driver....Info needed

Im looking for the answer on that one too since I am downloading drivers from the asus site for a newly (new to me) acquired motherboard and don't know if I need to install these new drivers or not...will repost in a newer thread and hopefully find more information ...

just left sysopt.com forums from lack of replies to member's questions, or replies that made members feel dumb. I'm not 'illiterate' when it comes to computer technologies but can always and wish to learn more as I go along. I still remember I was pretty stupid on stuff starting out, and try to also remember that there are people in the same shoes as I was back then, and use patience when they find it hard to comprehend something.
