Help with wireless modem installed in puppy linux

Hello i have the same problem i have a Think Pad with Puppy Linux and a USB internet modem, and the device only have a .exe installer to install the device software. how can i use the modem? which libraries or packages i should download.

What device (or, if you know it, chipset in the device) is it that you're trying to use? If you don't know, post the results of lsusb with the card plugged in.

Ultimately, it's going to require making sure the device is recognized then finding/creating the correct pppd "chat" script (to tell pppd how to "talk" to the modem)
