Hi, i have had my new computer for about two weeks now. I overclocked it to 3.0 ghz (q6600) but now when my computer goes to sleep it turns off. So i got what Vista told me was happening here:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033
Additional information about the problem:
OS Version: 6_0_6001
Service Pack: 1_0
Files that help describe the problem:
Can anyone please help me as i can't leave my computer on unless I'm using it as it will turn off on its own.
Try installing the latest chipset drivers and see if that resolves the issue. It sound like the computer is blue-screening when it tries to go to sleep. If updating the drivers doesn't help, your motherboard might need a BIOS update.
