Ok, I have been watching streaming video files and know that you can get copies of the files from your IE temp folder. I never messed with this format before. The files end with .dat and do not play in anything. In the temp folder they are named FILE.wmv#0;1.000;0;0;1:2;2:2. When I copy it to the desktop it is renamed FILE.wmv. This is not a .flv file. I have searched for players that read .dat files and it seems that there are some around but they don't work.

Any suggestions would be welcomed.
