strange wallpaper problem

Hi Everyone,

Im currently having a problem with a web item on my desktop, I want to close the web item and change the wallpaper, but everytime i apply a wallpaper to the desktop the web item reappears, i have went into display properties and unticked the web item and applyed all settings but soon as i set a new desktop wallpaper it reappears...

does anyone know the registry key so i can manually disable it through regedit? or have an alternative solution?

Try turning Active Desktop off and then back on after a reboot.

Im not on XP right now and cant remember exactly how but the MS Help should explain how.

Ive had oddly the same trouble after changing wallpapers that XP will show the old one while booting and then show the correct one at full boot.
