Hi all,

I just have a quick question, since I am really new to this stuff and I am not sure what to do. I have a PC with Windows XP that came with it (I think it's called OEM? I am not sure). I recently changed my graphics card. I have no real problems with my PC, but in many cases it just slows down so much. Sometimes it takes 5 minutes to turn off...some games have stopped working, like Portal, and deleting it and downloading it again from Steam doesn't change a thing.

Anyway, I want to do a clean install, format my hard disc and start all over. What I want to ask is after the hardware change will I have problems with the activation? Will it still work? Is it no longer an issue (with Vista being what they make money from nowadays)?

I'd appreciate any help. Thank you.

You can still activate Windows XP with no problem.
