Hi


I had some serious trouble with my computer so a friend gave me a copy of windows xp when I got it installed I went to Network connections Right clicked my Lan connection properties then went to Internet protocol clicked install then add client but it comes up

Windows was unable to find any drivers for this device.

Could do with some help.

Did you put the drivers in for your network card?

If so then
with the windows disk in the drive.
Open the control panel go to add or remove progs|windows components.
Once in there you can select what you want to install.

You could also try the add connection wizard and it will take care of most of the driver loading for you.
