Well I hope this doesn't sound crazy but both the CD-R/RW and DVD-ROM drives
in my husbands HP pc are leaving this groove in the CD's that are played, we
have tried using a "cleaning" type cd, but it hasn't worked. The pc is about
2 years old and both these drives worked fine before, could it be the optic
eye is bad and is "burning through" the cd's as they are played? Now when
you put in a cd in to burn, it will burn a "good" cd, without the grooves.
But ruin the original in the process.
Any idea's what's going on?
thanks
