Good Vista AV-Aspyware program?

Hi i just bought and installed vista ultimate64. I don;t know why but AVG won;t work on this OS. can anyone recommend any good, small free avg software that will work on vista64?

Also does anyone else get loads of program problems with this os? origrams not installing running - Adobe CS4, Games,

CS4, I've yet to try it -it's brand new. Maybe the warez is whack?

Loads of problems? No, not at all. There is something wrong, somewhere.

If you have an issue with Vista and running programs it is usually fixed by:

1. Right click on the exe. and choose 'run as administrator'

2. right click on the exe and go to 'properties' and then 'compatibility' and then to XP mode'

AV? Didn't know AVG didn't like 64. AVG says it does. http://www.avg.com/product-avg-anti-virus-free-edition#...

NOD works great but it's not free.

Try Avast. There's a free version of that and it's probably on par with AVG.

Cool thanks guys. I finally got it working. Re-downloded it twice and re-installed it 3 times. works fine now. Strange problem. CS4 is the demo only, i'm going to dry to install it again now, see what it does
