what is the performance difference between CL4 and CL5 ?

What is the performance difference between CL4 and CL5 on a DDR2-800?Is Corsair Twin XMS2 PC-6400 DDR2-800 CL5 any good or this memory similar to value memory like any DDR2-800 with CL5( Kingmax, Kingston ).

Theres a 5% difference in performance between CL5 and CL4.

But the reason that ppl buy 800Mhz CL4 is so that they can overclock to 1066Mhz CL5.

If you compare them side by side, you will never see the difference with the naked eye. However, if you are intending to OC as noted above, then CAS4 PC6400 memory is typically going to have more headroom for OCing than CAS5 PC6400 memory.
