Hello :) , soon I installed this system and then I installed successfully two security software - Mil Shield version 7.0 and Lavasoft Personal Firewall version 3.0. I tested these programs and they run without any errors.

I just want to ask you, did you test some security software compatible with Windows 7?

I think that many programs still don't work on Windows 7 RC. I have tested lots of programs and the result wasn't good because there was installation errors or some options of these programs didn't work in both Windows 7 (32bit and 64bit).

Even lots of programs still give errors when one try to installed them on Vista :( but maybe this problems will be solved for Windows 7.

I am currently using Windows 7 64 bit.

I have used AVG, Avast, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and winpatrol.

The only issue I have had is that Avast can't run the boot-time scan on a 64 bit operating system.

I haven't encountered installation problems with any of the above software nor have I needed to run the apps in compatibility mode for XP SP3.

I use AVG anti-virus and I have no problems with this program. Yesterday, I've installed Lavalys Everest and I also have no issues with it. But some programs as CCleaner has problems with their functionality, and I did stop to use this program on Windows 7.

I currently use Ccleaner on Windows 7. The only problem I have is that I can't set it to run at startup as UAC prevents this.

What problem did you find with Ccleaner RockZet?

I have Mil Shield and Ccleaner.

MS is the best privacy program, it erases everything without mercy ;)
CC is one of the best because it leaves some unworn files.

I know Glary Utilities is compatible with Win 7. I updated Glary Utilities to 2.16.0.758 version and it works well. :hello:

Well, I'm running now Win7. And I noticed that it has smaller security than in Vista. Right now I have mil shield, kaspersky and avira antiVir. They work pretty well on Win7.

its not smart to have 2 or more active antiviruses installed at the same time!

NIS 2010 also works well. It is recommended by Microsoft, if you click on Find a security provider from the Action Center on Windows 7.
