There must be a revision on the 680i motherboards but what are the upsides because if I don't know then the extra cost associated with the A1 version isn't worth it to me.

This is what I'm talking about

So what are the difference with these border besides that the original doesn't have quad core support. Aside from the quad core whats the difference between the first version, A1 and T1? And my last question do any of these motherboards have Penryn support?

There are many smarter people than me on this forum but I am as dumb founded as you. I think maybe there might be some difference in the power management after the first board to support the quads but I can't see any difference in the other two that a BIOS update can't fix.

Edit: also had a few cocktails, maybe smarter when sober

The only revision of the board I'm aware of differed only in a couple of resistors that gave much better Quad Core overclocking.

Last I remember eVGA were swapping the older boards for new revision ones under warranty anyway.
