Hey everyone,

Having trouble installing the latest non-packaged mypaint... This is the readme.

Me no understand :( .

And this is when my knowledge of Linux falls short, when people aren't nice enough to build pretty .rpm files.

  1. [root@LDETPOS mypaint-1.0.0]# scons
  2. scons: Reading SConscript files ...
  3. Building for python2.7
  4. /bin/sh: python2.7-config: command not found
  5. going to try python-config instead
  6. /bin/sh: python-config: command not found
  7. OSError: 'python-config --ldflags' exited 127:
  8. File "/home/strayfire/Downloads/mypaint-1.0.0/SConstruct", line 64:
  9. env.ParseConfig('python-config --ldflags')
  10. File "/usr/lib/scons/SCons/Environment.py", line 1551:
  11. return function(self, self.backtick(command))
  12. File "/usr/lib/scons/SCons/Environment.py", line 593:
  13. raise OSError("'%s' exited %d" % (command, status))

Ignore this, it was a reply to the original error messages AFG posted and later edited.

Is this still an open issue? AV's comments confused me a bit and I'm a bit tired...
