I seem to have problems with Internet sharing.

Desktop PC connects to the internet thru seperate ethernet adapter and adsl
modem, no router. Desktop has two ethernet adapters, one for the adsl
connection and one for regular netwerk connected thru a switch. The settings
for the Internet are DHCP and Shared. The settings for Local network are IP
address and submask.

On a laptop is a single ethernet adapter, configured for IP address and
submask.

The standard local network is perfect. Both back and forth to and from
desktop and/or laptop.

On the laptop however I have no internet connection. What am I missing here?
The wizards don't provide a solution.

Thanks for your reply.
Opa.

You may want to start here: "Resources for Troubleshooting Internet
Connection Sharing in Windows XP"
