Ok, I have vista X64 and will be getting a new motherboard. Its OEM vista and I heard they key is only good for 1 computer and that is tied to the motherboard. So if I change the mobo, do I have to get a new vista key? Can I get one from MS for free if I tell them I just upgraded my PC?

Ok, I learned that I will not have a problem. I will just have to call MS when I need the new key and they will give me one.

I found that info here

Thanks!

Somewhere I have it where you can do it and save your settings and not have to contact Msoft. Either way it will work.
