D-Link DIR-601 Linux compatible?

is the D-Link DIR-601 Router compatible with the current version of Ubuntu/Linux?

would I be able to configure the encryption/firewall ect?

I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be. Networking standards are platform independant. The configuration on these things is normally done via a web browser so you can even do it from a mobile phone nowadays.
