Hello everyone.

I have a strange problem...here goes. I reinstalled Windows XP on my Dell laptop using the reinstall CD that came with it. I thought I selected one single partition (it's an old machine w/ only 60gb HDD) and to reformat before installing.

The reinstall was relatively painless, except now when I boot, I have to choose between two different Windows XP OS's. One boots fine, but the other gives me a long error message and sends be back to the boot list.

Any ideas how to get rid of the dead XP selection so I don't have to worry about choosing between the two?

Thanks gang!

Eric
