i use windows xp 32. must i change to another platform lice mac or windows 64 for better render speed in 3ds max? and max memory? i dont. want the popup message "out of memory, the applikation wil now close", when i rendering movie files with hair and fur. is it something more proseccores or a 2nd screen i must have, to let 3ds max render hair and fur as quick as possible without problems? :bounce:

More RAM and a faster CPU is what you're after. If you do alot of rendering go for Core i7 as 3DS Max loves to use as many threads as it can.
