It appears I am unable to open the right click menu, meaning I right click and the menu will not show up. I can however right click in the toolbar and tabs bar, just not on web pages. Its rather annoying.

Try reverting to Firefox 3.0.12, or switching to Opera 10 and wait out the mess that is Firefox 3.5.x. The other thing to try is to install the NoScript addon. It may be the pages you are talking about are disabling the right-click functionality through javascript.

I'm on firefox 3.5 and my right click function works fine. Are you on 3.5?
