I have a GA 945PL S3 mobo and 2X512 Corsair Value mem DDR 533. I'd like to get another 2X512 MB but I don't know what to do. Go for DDR 533 or go for DDR 667 and underclock it (as my mobo doesn't support DDR 667), and increase the timings.

I'm not sure whether this is possible, so I'm asking you.

Thanks for your feedback!

Just get the 533 ram. The 667's timings would only be able to go as low as the 533's. You can't have different timings on each set/stick.

... I suggest you EXACTLY match your current memory.
While this is of course a nice goal, in practice it normally can't be done, as even DIMMs sold as the same brand and model number typically no longer have exactly the same design and component chips as those sold even a month earlier.
I'd pick new RAM with the same voltage spec as your current RAM, and buy a line known for good compatibility, such as Kingston's standard (not premium) line. I'd also first download and run memtest86+ on your system *before* upgrading, to make sure your current system is running without errors.
