Hi,

When I tried to allocate more space to my C drive which is in NTFS File System from my Fat 32 logical drives of D, E, F, G and H, by using Partition Magic Software the result showed an error. And later I learned that the error was because before trying to allocate space to my C drive I should have changed my logical drive from FAT 32 File System to NTFS File System.

Now my window XP is not showing my F drive. And all the other logical drives are showing quite fine. Then I changed those 4 drives successfully from FAT 32 to NTFS.

The error the Partition Magic is showing is : Error # 2003. File Size does not match FAT allocation for file.

Can be mentioned hre that the file system for my F drive is still in FAT 32 as per the partition Magic Software window, I can also see my F directory from Partition Magic window. The path to this directory is showing like : Downloads(\\.\disk1.part4\). Downloads is the name of my F: directory. All the folders that is in my F directory is showing in this software window. But in my XP the directory F is not showing.

When I am running chkdsk on F, the following is showing : Cannot open volume for direct access.

Now, can someone help me to recover my F directory / partition.

Thanks
Kamrul
