hello music mad, i upgraded from sp2 to sp3 and i would recomend it, its said that it has a 10% speed boost over sp2, wether that is 100% true im not sure, but i would upgrade to sp3. it doesnt hurt to be up to date 
but if your happt with with sp2 then you can keep it, i have had zero problems andwhat flakes said if your pc is clean then you should be fine.
