SiS to begin producing DDR3 chipsets in late 2007
Published on June 13, 2006As a follow-up to its recent announcement of next-generation desktop chipset products targeted to hit the market in 2007, Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) stated that the SiS665, the company's first northbridge that will support DDR3 memory technology, will reach production phase in the end of 2007, but volume shipments are currently not expected to start before 2008.
