Not sure if this is in the correct place.

My wife works a internet job from home, she logs into a server over the net and the can access links to WebPages used to place orders etc. on one of the WebPages it has several dropdowns, all work fine except one. She can click on the dropdown, but when selecting and clicking on any of the choices the computer beeps (from case not speakers) and the current pages freezes. by opening task manager you can un freeze the page (this program has stopped responding)

there are several other people on her team that have no problem with there systems and it works fine on our laptop(all settings are the same)

I was thinking it was there problem, but now after it works fine on the laptop think it is something with IE.

Complicated version: spend many an hour trawling the web and try to find out why this site, why it happens on that particular action, what it means, how to possibly fix it etc etc.

Quick version: head to www.getfirefox.com (or, more amusingly, www.ie7.com) and use a better, safer, faster, more secure browser :)
