Recover Reiserfs partitions from external drive

I was installing CentOS and forgot to disconnect an usb external drive which had 2 reiserfs partitions.

The CentOS installation used my internal HD along with my external one to create an lvm.

I think no data was written to the external drive but I'm not sure.

Is there any way to recover the deleted partition table and get those reiserfs partitions back?

At this point I wouldn't put much hope into being able to fully recover the partitions as they existed, but I would rather turn my attention to trying to dig files out of the un-mangled tracts of disk if they were really, really important to you and you didn't back them up (which, obviously, you should have made backups).

If you can't afford to lose it, back it up *clap clap*
If you can't afford to lose it
then there's no way to excuse it
