I have a Netgear rangemax 54mbs router transmitting a internet signal from house 1. Im picking up that signal in house 2 with an external antenna outside the house. (100 meters away)
I have full signal with the external antenna, 54mbs.
Now to my problem. I want to be able to connect to the internet signal from house 1 anywere in house 2 without the use of an external antenna. Ofcourse i will still use the external antenna on the incoming signal.
Will this work:
An accesspoint with the external antenna receiving the signal from house 1. Then a cable from the accespoint to another wireless router transmitting internet signals all over house 2?
Will be needing, 1 Accesspoint and 1 wireless router.?
Please tell me if this works or what i need to do for it to work?
as I know, u need WDS feature in both access points (two) and it must be the same brand. the speed of the connection will decrease by half if u used this method.
