Hello,

You can try 7-Zip. It's an open source software.

What kind of OS do you have? My HP with XP professional doesn't have WinZip, but it came with a free version of the same thing. I don't think it has a name, but when I right click in a folder or on the desktop there is an option to creat a new compressed (zipped) folder. This compresses files in the exact same way as WinZip, just without the special logo or the price tag. I'm not sure if all operating systems have this option, but mine does.

i was wondering about unzipping the files more than being able to compress them.
