i just recently got a windows xp professional and i got everything plugged in but the internet won't work and i do know why it says that a network cable is unplugged but i have a cable plugged in already that connects to my router, some1 help me pls

make sure the cable isnt loose at both ends, try a different cable, try pushing the connector right into the socket with the cable (rather than the head).

on my Lan it now says Enabled but not connected and i still cant get on the internet, any other suggestions?
