OEM Windows XP Pro

I've been thinking of installing Windows XP Pro on my laptop (it came with Windows Vista Home Premium) and I have an older computer that doesn't get any use anymore that has Windows XP Pro (came with the computer). So can I use my Windows Xp Pro disk from my old computer to install it on my laptop, or will it only work on the old computer?

Officially the EULA (End User License Agreement) ties an OEM copy of XP to the PC on which it was originally installed. Unofficially, providing you can get the drivers there's nothing to stop you.

Some Laptops (HP-Compaq come to mind) only have Vista drivers easily available, not XP; so make sure you can get them before you start.
