I upgraded from Windows XP to Windows Vista using an upgrade disc.

Recently i did a bios update whilst using vista, and it states ACPI 2.0 Support disabled?

I am experience system hangs on q6600 overclock to 3ghz. Prime stable. But for example if i open CPU-Z then close it. If i try to open it again it appears in system processes, but is not displayed on the screen.

Anyone else hand this problem?

Do i need to re-installed with ACPI enabled?

Regards
Andrew

Is ACPI enabled in the BIOS setup?

Are you running the latest chipset drivers for your M/B?

What M/B are we talking about?
