How do I make these processes not be started??

I already looked at msconfig.exe, but there are some processes that my Windows Vista is running when the system starts that I can't find. Processes from Windows Media Player and the Media Center for example... Do somebody know how can I make these processes not be started?

Register or log in to remove.

Go>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services (opens list of all running services)>Use Start up Type options to make the changes you want. Close and reboot system.
