Easyshare software storage picture catalog format

Easyshare Software
The system lets you set up folders to categorize pictures. However the folders are internal to Easyshare and are not windows folders.It apparently keeps track of folder names in an internal catalog.
As far as I know if you ever destroy the catalog or if you want to use the pictures ourside of Easyshare, you lose all the classification effort you have put into those pictures.
Does anyone know how to recover or export the pictures and folder information from EasyShare? Thanks Jim

Same problem but see you did not get an answer. Does anyone have some help here? Installed Picasa but when scanning it does not see all of the pictures. The photo's are there in Galleries when I open easyshare bit Picasa does not see them. VERY frustrating. Please help.
