i really don't like the vista start menu, is there a way to get vista with the windows XP start menu (not win98), the vista start menu is slow and cumbersome and i would like to get rid

Right click on the bottom desktop toolbar. Click properties. Select 'Classic' start menu.

Hardly. Use the Vista start menu. Send any link/program/system tool you need to access to the desktop. Access it from there.

i dont think you have seen the 98 start menu or you wouldn't say that

Right click on the desktop toolbar. Move cursor to Toolbars. Check Desktop. Access any link on the desktop from the desktop toolbar.

The Xp Themes arnt as easy to find, I personally dont use it. However this video should give you exactly what your looking for so I hope this helps you!
