My mac pro was running windows xp through apple's virtual OS software. Somewhere along the lines, I must have deleted a driver that let me run windows xp. I can no longer run windows xp as it gives me an error.

I want to recover my windows xp files through this approach. I want to take out my laptop HDD and place it in a external enclosure and from that run it using a windows system.
Will windows show the windows part of this HDD? Any other approaches I can use?
