Hi there,

For a good few months I am going to be sofa/house bound, broke my femur.

So I decided to embark on the daunting task of giving Linux a decent try. I have googled but a lot of crap comes up and other stuff seems quite outdated so thought I'd ask you guys.

Does anybody know of some good tutorials or websites to learn about the Command Line, File system, the kernel itself and things like that?

Any help would be great thanks.

I understand huggles, I'm in the same boat( well I just finished my undergrad so I got time now). The links above are a few of the ones I looked at. The good thing about the OS is that a lot of the stuff you're looking for is out there. The unfortunate thing is that it may need a bit of sorting. Sorry bout the femur btw, hope it heals correctly.
