I have copy of my Programs Folder one a DVD and I have installed Windows XP Pro one a new hard drive. Can I utilize that old folder in any way in this new install?

Thanks Grumpy, did not think so. I still have the the entire healthy installation on an IDE hard drive. I bought a barebones system with a SATA hard drive and only one IDE connection (but 4 SATAs) Both CD and DVD are IDE.
What is your best reccomendation in the utilization of this configuration. I would like to get by without installing allof the programs again. I foolishly bought several on downloads and did not get the hard copies to have for a situation such as this. Not real smart.

You just need to reinstall everything.
