My lap top has AVG8.5 installed.

A message appeared telling me my virus definitions were out of date. It now crashes when updating and won't let me uninstall it.

It crashes when checking system, file name "miniavg"

I have virgin PC gaurd now installed and it has found no virus. How do I uninstall AVG?

control panel-->add remove programs

I would recommend Avira.
