Ie8 links open in firefox

I'm using the latest firefox and whenever I try to use ie8 to view some pages, I click on a link or try to put an address in the bar it'll load the page in firefox. I tried setting ie8 to the default browser, run every spyware/malware program available and all come up clean.

I've never had this kind of problem, something is redirecting links to open in firefox instead of ie8.

HELP ME

edit: fixed that problem, was one of the toolbars. Now another problem! I can't open a command prompt. Whenever I try to explorer closes and restarts.
