Anyone know if there are any functional differences between these two models? I could just find information on dimensional and cosmetic differences with some searches I tried. I currently have a G520 and like it a lot. Need a 2nd one... the G520P looks nice, just wondering if you lose anything (internally/functionally) with the smaller dimensions.

There is no difference in performance. the CPD-G520 has the sleeker look whilst the CPD-G520p has the more traditional look.

Some unscrupulous dealers may charge more for the aesthetic appeal of the "P".

Quality is better than name brand, even regarding beloved AMD.
