some hyper photos work; the others return: viewer requires to update some files in your system. Would you like to update them? This is for both "view your photos and upload your photos. for the photo editor, you get: unable to launch software/ photo editor /photo editor.exe. Answer yes, the computer logs off and restarts. There errors remain the same. I have a large number of rolls to process.

Try reinstalling the software, after first uninstalling it of course.
