Ati includes Avivo video converter with new Catalyst 6.3 drivers

Ati has released their Catalyst 6.3 drivers that include many bug fixes and a video encoder that can cut video conversion times by up to 80%. Weighing in at almost 60 megaBytes the new drivers will solves rendering problems on popular games like Farcry, Call of Duty 2 and World of Warcraft. In fact, owners of Ati Radeon X1800 and X1900 videos cards should expect to see a 5% to 10% increase in frame-rates from the new drivers. Read more

ATI releases April Catalyst driver update

PowerColor debuts X1650 XT graphics card

Graphics card supplier TUL Corporation today announced the PowerColor X1650 XT graphics processing unit (GPU). According to the company, it is the second GPU to be manufactured at 80nm fabrication process and to feature CrossFire Bridge Interconnect technology. I saw a video review recently that highlighted that the S-video jack on the ATI HD 2900 series cards is input as well as output. My question is, does that mean I cold take an S-video cable from a cable box and input it to the card making that an effective TV Tuner card?
