I've had my 60XBR950 for about a year. It seems the anti-reflective
screen is not "sealed" to the cabinet, allowing dist and dirt to get
behind it. It is especially noticeable in the top corners and middle-top
of the screen, and is definitely on the inner surface.
Has anyone removed the anti-reflective screen on these sets to clean it
up? I guess I should start with removing the back cover, but have no
idea how difficult/easy it would be to dismount the screen.

You might try a call to Sony during the daytime. The 800 number
should be in the thick instruction book. During the daytime a tech in
Florida should answer. At night you get connected to India or some
island in the Pacific.
Screen cleaning should be in your manual but it probably covers only
the front area.
